The Output Volume control sets the output volume after processing, letting you make up gain or prevent clipping on the channel where the Channel Strip plug-in is being used. The Output Volume control can be set to apply at the end of the FX Chain (Post) or before the FX Chain (PRE), see FX Chain.
To adjust the Output Volume, do one of the following:

Click in the Output Volume field to type the desired value (–INF dB to +12 dB).

Click Vol and drag up or down to adjust the Output Volume setting.
